Two popular Houston restaurants will open new locations in the Oak Forest/Garden Oaks area near the Heights.
The Leader reported that Tacos A Go-Go and The Union Kitchen will open locations in two Braun Enterprises properties just outside of the 610 Loop. Tacos A Go-Go's third Houston location at 3401 W. TC Jester Blvd. will replace the former Roznovsky’s Hamburgers restaurant, and Union Kitchen will open in Ella Plaza at 3470 Ella Blvd. Union Kitchen will be the flagship restaurant for Ella Plaza, the Leader reported.
Houston-based Braun Enterprises was not immediately available to provide additional details to the Houston Business Journal.
Rumors of a third Tacos a Go-Go location have surfaced in past years. In 2013, it was speculated that a new location would open on Westheimer, but that location did not come to fruition. The taco restaurant also has locations in Midtown and the Heights.
Meanwhile, Union Kitchen also has locations in Bellaire, Memorial and Kingwood. Union Kitchen owner Paul Miller also opened a new concept, Paul's Kitchen, in Upper Kirby last year.
