Two New Restaurants Confirmed for Oak Forest

THE LEADER NEWS

When Roznovsky’s Hamburgers closed after the death of longtime owner Ron Roznovsky, the building at 3401 W. T.C. Jester was purchased by Braun Enterprises. At the time Dan Braun said that the building would remain a restaurant and that they were looking for something that would be a good fit for the neighborhood. They found it – Tacos a Go Go, currently also on Main Street and White Oak Drive, will occupy the location.

And that’s not all. Braun also told The Leader of their search for a flagship restaurant at Ella Plaza. That restaurant will be Union Kitchen, which also has locations in Bellaire, Memorial and Kingwood. It will occupy the former Golden Wok which will relocate to elsewhere in the center.

In addition, Body Rock Pilates has signed a contract to occupy the space behind Union Kitchen.

When asked about all the projects they have in the works in the area, Braun said, “We like the [Leader] neighborhoods a lot. Combined they are the size of many mid-sized cities with terrific demographics and extremely dense. Not a whole lot not to like.”
