Mellow Mushroom has settled on a new space in the Heights for its second Houston-area location. Opening is targeted in the spring or summer of 2016.
The Atlanta-based chain, which features handcrafted pizzas, hoagies, salads, calzones and a wide selection of beer, will anchor a redevelopment by Braun Enterprises. The building is being redeveloped from automotive to retail use.
The local franchisee for Mellow Mushroom has leased 5,315 square feet at 1919 N. Shepherd at 19th Street.
